What are your contributions to the team?
- Adhere to general work requirements
- Perform all basic tasks with limited supervision
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Check and verify part and serial numbers to determine part configuration
- Disassemble components, remove coatings and clean individual parts in preparation for inspection of damage, corrosion and general condition
- Measure required parts for conformity to applicable manual or engineering specifications
- Record inspection and/or test results and determine pass, reject, or prescribe repair scheme
- Order necessary parts and/or components
- Replace, repair and/or overhaul aircraft parts
- Reapply applicable coatings to individual parts and reassemble components
- Machining tasks
- May perform Designated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA
- Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals
- Ability to conduct functional testing
- Ability to operate and interpret precision tools
- Ability to research and prepare parts and labor estimates
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
- Comply with environmental, health and safety Policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
- Ability to learn to operate ground support equipment
- Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
- Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
