What are your contributions to the team?
- Adhere to General Work Requirements
- Research and administer special programs, including warranty, Smart Parts, and open delivery items
- Work with customers for clarification of requirements to ensure customer expectations are met
- Assist in creating project flow charts and other management tools in support of aircraft visits
- Determine resource availability (e.g., tools, components), coordinating with resource providers on issues that could potentially impact the Master Schedule
- Create aircraft work packages in a logical and efficient manner, including identification of material, tooling, and manpower requirements prior to scheduled induction
- Attend customer debrief (or pre-induct) prior to aircraft arrival, as required
- Develop, maintain, and distribute schedule
- Process complex work packages, such as those involving multiple payers, warranty programs (e.g., Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell)
- Coordinate scripting activities for specific aircraft models
- Responsible for development and maintenance of processes by task identification, sequencing, and applying standards (e.g., tools, components, and labor hours)
How to thrive in this role?

Typically 5 years of planning experience, preferably in an aircraft maintenance environment

Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, project, e-mail, and web-based applications

Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, customers, management, and contractors

Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting with rapidly changing priorities

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Ability to analyze risk and make sound business decisions

Bachelor's degree in a related field, as desired

A&P Certificate or FCC License, as preferred

Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis, as desired

Experience with SAP, Maximo, and/or Pivotal, as preferred

Basic knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (e.g., part 91, 121, 135, and 145), as desired

Basic knowledge of the process for producing Airworthiness Directives, as desired

Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, as desired

Working knowledge of Service Bulletins and other technical documents, such as General Repair Engineering Orders (GREO) and maintenance manuals, as desired
